The Chamber relies on our community for nominations for the awards and appreciates your time in making the nominations. Winners of these awards are honored at our Annual Awards Dinner. Deadline is January 31st.
The more detailed information the committee has in writing the better they are able to select the worthwhile candidate. Each year the GHCC receives many excellent nominations for consideration. If you have sent in a nomination in the past that has not yet been honored but continues to work for the betterment of the community—we encourage you to please send us your nomination again. The candidate must live or work in Hudson or surrounding communities, and their activities must be mainly centered in or have a positive effect on the local community, the accomplishments to be acknowledged are based on the current year’s community contributions and not have been previously recognized in the last 3 years. The selection committee will review and weigh the candidate based on leadership, community involvement, volunteerism, and specific contributions to the community.
The business has 50 or more employees and must be a located in the Greater Hudson coverage area, a business established at least one year, and one which exhibits successful business practices and distinguishes them as a business that advances the best interest of the local community through leadership and community contributions and not have been previously recognized in the last 3 years. The selection committee will review and weigh the nominated businesses based on leadership, contributions to the community, must be a Gr. Hudson Chamber of Commerce member and exhibits successful business practices.
The business has less than 50 employees and must be a located in the Greater Hudson coverage area, established at least one year, and one which exhibits successful business practices and distinguishes them as a business that advances the best interest of the local community through leadership and community contributions and not have been previously recognized in the last 3 years. The selection committee will review and weigh the nominated businesses based on leadership, contributions to the community, must be a member of the Gr. Hudson Chamber of Commerce and exhibits successful business practices.
Nonprofit organizations make a notable impact on the quality of life for those who live and work in our community. Nominations will be considered on the types of direct services provided, how many individuals they impact and in what ways, creativity in delivery of services, successful future development and donor recruitment efforts and sustainability of the organization and not have been previously recognized in the last 3 years. The selection committee will review and weigh the nomination based on services provided, community impact and improvement and successful future development and sustainability.
Intent of the Award Honor and Scholarship:
The intent of the award is to nurture and acknowledge students for excelling in leadership and community service while balancing a strong academic foundation along with any commitments to work. The honoree will also receive a scholarship for furthering their education.

The monetary award presented to the student(s) is intended for use toward college expenses, including the purchase of books or other materials required for post-secondary education.
Submission Instructions: Submit the application, transcript, letters of recommendation, resume and essay either electronically to info@hudsonchamber.com or by mailing it to the Gr. Hudson Chamber of Commerce at 71 Lowell Road, Hudson NH 03051. All applications must be submitted by January 31st to be eligible for consideration.
